About Us

 In the summer of 2013, Ms. Sonja bought the dance studio from her aunt/godmother, Ms. Tara Donelan Jurgens, who bought the dance studio from her aunt/godmother, Ms. Patricia Donelan Zint in the fall of 1984. Ms. Pat opened her first studio in 1941. Ms. Tara renamed the studio Dance Express when the purchase of the studio was finalized in 1984. In the early years, the studio was located at 4th & Monmouth Streets in Newport, Kentucky until the summer of 2006, when it moved to it's current location at the corner of Blossom Ln. & Alexandria Pike in Fort Thomas, Kentucky where dancers across the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Region come to learn Dance and Tumbling.
